Department of architecture and urban planning of the Gomel city Executive Committee

• Coordinates the work of research, design, exploration and other organizations;

• considers and agrees the urban, architectural and construction projects;

• gives a reference for carrying out engineering-geological and topographic surveys for construction;

• organizes the development of schemes of the complex territorial organization of administrative-territorial and territorial units, master plan, Gomel, urban planning projects of special planning at the local level and town-planning projects of detailed planning;

• provides on-site Gomel implementation planning documentation, the adherence of territories in the functional use of the territory of the city;

• carries out in the territory the maintenance of the urban cadastre, the establishment and maintenance of archival funds of development projects, Fund of materials of engineering surveys for construction;

• coordinates in accordance with the legislation of all types of construction on the basis of the approved planning documentation;

• coordinates information support in the field of architectural, urban planning and construction activities;

• prepares permits;

• participates in the development and approval of normative legal acts, including technical normative legal acts in the field of architectural, urban planning and construction activities;

• exercise other powers in the field of architectural, urban planning and construction activities provided by the Law of the Republic of Belarus of 5 July 2004, no. 300-Z "On architectural, urban planning and construction activities in the Republic of Belarus" and other legislative acts.

The decision of the Executive Committee from 31.07.200, No. 462 in the Department of architecture and urban planning founded the Gomel city Executive Committee Municipal unitary enterprise "Architectural and planning Bureau Uaig". Work carried out by the organization are paid, are carried out on a contractual basis at the rates approved by the Ministry of architecture and construction of Republic of Belarus.
