Gomel Polydrev increased its production volume by almost a third this year
ODO polidrev has increased production by almost a third this year compared to last year, Director of the Company Roman Napreev told reporters during a visit to the production site of the Chairman of the Gomel regional Executive Committee Gennady Solovyov, BelTA reports.
"We are increasing production from year to year. In 2020, we increased this figure by about 30% compared to last year. Volumes are growing. We didn't stop production during the pandemic. There were new orders, which increased production, " - said the head of the company. In General, since the beginning of the year, ODO has produced more than Br7 million worth of commercial products.
The company, which holds the position of one of the leading enterprises in Belarus for the production of plastic parts by vacuum forming, is constantly developing new types of products. "Our partners' productions are constantly being updated. They have new models of buses, tractors, and combines. And we need new parts all the time. Therefore, each new order is a new type of product for us. This is a continuous process, " Roman Napreev said. According to him, the nomenclature is measured in thousands of names. Every year, Polydrev develops a couple of hundred new species, and this is almost daily-a new species.
The company sells about 60% of its products on the domestic market. Among the regular customers are such large enterprises as MAZ, BELAZ, Gomselmash, MTZ, Amkodor, and BMZ. The rest is exported. In General, in Russia. Deliveries are also made to the USA, as well as small orders to Europe (Germany, Poland, Czech Republic).
This year, during the first wave of coronavirus, Polydrev mastered the sewing of protective masks and the production of protective shields. They were then transferred to hospitals. The company is ready to continue this work. Gennady Solovey noted that masks will be in demand in the future. "They must be both effective in terms of protection and have an aesthetic appearance," he said.

ODO Polidrev has been working on the vacuum forming market for more than 20 years. The list of products includes parts for agricultural and other areas of mechanical engineering, thermal panels. The company's structure includes sites in Gomel, Rechitsa and Russian Klintsy. The number of employees exceeds 500 people.
