A Memorandum of understanding in respect of the establishment of twinning between the cities of Gomel and Handan (Hebei province of China) signed today during a meeting of the Chairman of the Gomel regional Executive Committee Gennady Nightingale with the Chinese delegation, BelTA has learned.

Signatures under the document have put the Chairman of the Gomel city Executive Committee Piotr Kirichenko and first Deputy mayor of people's government of Handan Have Cinelan.

Gennady Nightingale expressed confidence that the Memorandum will promote the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
