The Department of trade and services of the Gomel city Executive Committee

The Department of trade and services of the Gomel city Executive Committee in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On local government and self-government in the Republic of Belarus" with rights of a legal entity, has a seal with the state emblem of the Republic of Belarus and its name, letterhead, Bank account, own balance sheet.
 
The main tasks of the Department of trade and services of the Gomel city Executive Committee:

  • coordination of activities of economic entities of all forms of ownership in the industry "trade" on the organization of uninterrupted provision of the population of the city consumer goods and products of public catering;
  • the implementation of national and regional programs of economic and social development of the region. Development directions of social-economic development of the industry "trade" cities with established infrastructure of the domestic market of the city;
  • implementation of the analysis and forecasting of economic and other indicators of functioning of business entities "trade" sector of the city and make proposals to the Executive Committee, the relevant authorities of Gomel regional Executive Committee of the Republican Ministries and departments;
  • control over observance by business entities of all forms of ownership of the current legislation of trading activities.

All specialists of the Department shall audit the trading network of the city's compliance of the current legislation regulating the conduct of retail trade and trade-production activities.
