Mandatory mask mode is introduced in Gomel region

Mandatory mask mode is introduced from November 9 in all regions of the region. This was announced at the weekly staff meeting by Governor Gennady Solovey, writes homelskaya prayda.

This means that residents of the region will have to use personal respiratory protection equipment on immovable and movable objects and in organizations of all forms of ownership. You will need to wear masks at the entrance to stores, shopping centers, catering facilities (with the exception of meal times), pharmacies, health care, culture and education institutions, social services, sports facilities, administrative buildings, Bank branches, communications, post offices, consumer services, public transport and other facilities.

The order will complement the comprehensive plan of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the Gomel region.

Employees of the regional center of hygiene and epidemiology and its structural divisions will control its execution. The decision is caused, among other things, by non-compliance with social distance by residents of the region.

In addition to the mask mode, starting today, the number of mass events in the region is being reduced, and meetings are being converted to video conferences as much as possible.
