Belarusian agricultural machinery maker Gomselmash to make 3,500 self-propelled machines in 2024

GOMEL, 14 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian agricultural machinery manufacturer Gomselmash intends to make at least 3,500 self-propelled machines in 2024. Gomselmash Director General Aleksandr Novikov shared the plans with reporters before a conference of founders and members of the industrialist union Progress, BelTA has learned.

According to the Gomselmash CEO, preliminary results of this year were understandable as early as September. “We will definitely hit our target of 3,000 units of self-propelled equipment. All the machines will find customers. We intend to make at least 3,500 units of self-propelled equipment in 2024. It will be a good increase in the output growth rate and in the export potential,” Aleksandr Novikov stressed.

In January-September 2023 the company’s profitability of sales totaled 13.1% while the target was set at 8.2%. The output of industrial goods in effective prices exceeded the figure registered in January-September 2022 by 51.2%. Earnings from sales exceeded the target specified by the business plan on social and economic development by 12.8% and increased by 43.3% in comparison with January-September 2022.

The conference of founders and members of the industrialist union Progress took place at Gomselmash premises on 14 November. Representatives of Belarus and Russia were made familiar with Gomselmash’s manufacturing potential before the plenary session.
