Gomel combine builders plan to increase export shipments by five percent by the end of the year

Our machine-building holding is adding to the production and sale of equipment, despite the pandemic and the global economic downturn, Pravda Gomelreports.

Dmitry Mulyar, Deputy General Director of the company, told about the plans to increase exports by 5% at the end of the year at Belagro-2020. According to him, the epidemic had a negative impact on both sales and supply, but it was still possible to slightly increase export figures for eight months. Sales increased in the main markets: Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Combines were delivered to Armenia and Zimbabwe.

It is expected that by the end of the year, export growth will be provided at the level of 105% by the result of 2019. Other indicators, such as the balance of payments and foreign exchange earnings, will grow accordingly.

By the way, at Belagro-2020 in Minsk, Gomselmash presented a high-performance GS16 combine with a 12 – row Reaper for harvesting corn, and two more modern combines-the GS3219 grain harvester and the FS450 forage harvester. In addition, a new GS200 combine harvester with a capacity of up to 4 kilograms per second was presented, aimed at local markets in Asia, Africa and small farms in the CIS.
