The new FS 450 forage harvester of Gomselmash has been successfully tested in the Gomel region, BelTA reports with reference to the company's official website.
This year, the novelty was shown to the General public at the exhibition "Belagro" and tested on the harvesting of corn full of wax ripeness. "The FS 450 harvester perfectly copes with its functions-efficient forage harvesting with high quality of grinding in the most difficult conditions," the company noted.
The novelty is equipped with a 450 HP Volvo Penta engine. the model's fuel tank Capacity is 750 liters. The transport speed of the combine is 30 km / h and allows you to reduce the time spent by the combine during the stages.
The FS 450 has a spacious, modern cabin with excellent visibility. It is equipped with everything necessary for comfortable operation of the combine. There is also a powerful electric lighting system for working at night.
Another bonus of the FS 450 is the ability to choose a pre-grinding device: roller or disk type.
"The new model provides a number of options that will help improve the efficiency of forage harvesting: auto driving, remote monitoring, video surveillance, four-wheel drive, automated centralized lubrication system, fire extinguishing system, determination of the parameters of the prepared feed," the company added.
As adapters for the FS 450, a 4.5 m wide folding Reaper for coarse-stemmed crops, a picker with an off-road picker, and a 5 m wide grass Reaper are available.
