A meeting with a delegation from Magnitogorsk
During the meeting, General Director of the Gomel city housing and communal services Victor Coulagot said: in the regional center for quality 99.9% water. 80% of the roads laid asphalt concrete pavement. Housing and utilities serviced by seven million square meters of living space. Now topical issue of transition to market conditions of the housing stock, as well as the organization of separate waste collection to 100 percent in the private sector.
- We for the first time in Gomel. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised: your city is very clean. We have much to learn. The purpose of the visit was to exchange practical experience of conducting housing and communal services. Among the issues which are interesting, - cleaning and maintenance of the road network, the separate collection of garbage and other, - said the head of the delegation, the Deputy head of Magnitogorsk for urban Affairs Julius elbakidze.
By the way, the program of stay of the Russian delegation included the visit to the "Garapa" and "Gorelektrotransport", "the Spetskommuntrans", "Gomelvodokanal".
