Registration of presidential candidates starts in Belarus
Registration of presidential candidates will be held in Belarus from 5 to 14 July inclusive. This information is posted on the CEC website, according to BelTA.
The next stage campaign will be campaigning. So, no later than July 20 will be the total printed posters with biographical data of Presidential candidates to be placed on the ballots and informational materials that will be sent to voters.
As reported, the documents for registration to the Central election Commission filed seven people. This Victor Babariko, Andrey Dmitriev, Anna Konopacka, Alexander Lukashenko, Svetlana Tikhanovski, Valery Tsepkalo, Sergey Caraceni.
The house of representatives has appointed the presidential elections on 9 August. For the schedule of early voting will be held from 4 to 8 August. The results of the Central election Commission shall sum no later than August 19. The second round, if necessary, is scheduled to be held no later than within two weeks, that is August 23.
