On the first day of early voting turnout for the presidential elections in Belarus made up 4.98%. This information is posted on the CEC website, according to BelTA.
In the Brest region voted 4.23% of voters from the total number included in the lists, in Vitebsk region - 5%. In Gomel oblast the voter turnout amounted to 7,55%, in Grodno - 3,39%.
In the Minsk region to the polls on the first day of early voting came 4,69% of the voters in Mogilev - of 4.66%, in Minsk was 4.77%.
The total number of voters included in the lists is 6 836 585 people.
Early voting started on August 4 and will last until 8 August inclusive.
